Event: 

Open House for the Newly Remodeled Monroe County Courthouse and Addition

Date and Time: April 1 (specific times listed below)

Schedule:

• 10:00 AM: Amy Leiser, Executive Director of the Monroe County Historical Association, will present a slide show on the history of Monroe County in one of the courtrooms. RSVP is required for this presentation.

• 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Tours of the newly remodeled courthouse will be available.

• 12:00 PM: On the courthouse plaza, the Pocono Mountain East Banner Singers will perform, followed by remarks from President Judge Art Zulick about the history of Monroe's courthouses. The Monroe County Keystone for the America250PA Semi quincentennial celebration will be unveiled.

  
  

Additional Activities:

• Food trucks (Square Fare and Cook’s Corner) will be available on Monroe St.

• Live music by 'Calliope' will be part of the event.
